Backswing Basics- These Are Fundamentally Vital

When you are having troubles regarding your swing as of the moment since you are just beginning golf and you can’t figure out why, maybe it’s the best time to go back to the basics. Sometimes, this is the secret to get yourself back in the game once more, even if you are already a pro in golf.

Too Much Information

The problem basically lies on the fact that you have been playing for quite some time. As you stay longer in the game, you learn more and more each day. This is often termed as information overload. Given the fact that you want to know almost everything, this information seems like rumbling in your brain.

Unfortunately, you can never be a master of everything. Yet, the best thing you can do as of now is to clear your head with all these thoughts and go back to the basics- the most essential of all tips!

Try the backswing techniques again. The vital components of your backswing are written below;

1.)    The club is drawn back from the ball, very low to the ground and quite slow for the first few inches.

2.)    The clubhead must stay to an inclined plane or also knows as arc.

3.)    When the club moves backward, once your hands are above your trailing foot, the right arm must fold and the wrists cock.

4.)    The shoulder turn and elbow or wrist fold gets the club to the top of the backswing.

A domino effect will take place and the speed of the club will increase, yet the first 6 inches of your swing must be a slow motion from the ball, as stated in the first item earlier. After such point, the domino effect sets in with your shoulders and hips.

The arms has to stop swinging in the backswing as the shoulders stop turning as well.
