As a new golfer, for my high school team, I am learning the hard way when it comes to packing away my irons and other supplies. We don’t always have the luxury of a golf cart to haul around our supplies. On the course we face slopes and long windy paths.

It becomes rather cumbersome to schlep our bags through 18 holes. We travel too, so I need something that can withstand the abuse of baggage handlers and my own bad handling habits.

I am just a beginner, but plan to be in this sport for the long haul. I would also like a top handle that has a natural position that has a palm facing my body when I grab it. I should be able to pull this thing all day long and not get frustrated. This bag needs to have enough room to fit a tour bag. It will also carry a cart bag and any stand or carry bag. The insertion point of the golf bags absolutely must be soft to protect my clubs and they need to have ample straps to secure my clubs into the golf travel cases.

My last set of clubs did not fare well on my last trip to Florida. Grant it, we switched planes twice and there were over 200 passengers.
