Golf Course

How did things go when you last played on a golf course? Today many golfers repeatedly claim that a bad day on the golf course is better than the best day at work. Not many regular golfers would disagree with that well-known sentence.

No matter our sex or our age, we have the same goal. After a round of golf we want to feel like we have accomplished something. It does not have to be the best round you ever played.

We just have a desire to remove ourselves from the daily thoughts that consume us at home and at work. On the golf course we have the chance to focus on a little fun and recreation.

Golf tournaments pit players against one another. For a golfer on a golf course, it is not enough to have a better score than the competition. As golfers work their way through the course, they tend to focus more on their own play than that of the others. It is more important to get the golf swing right.

Golfers compete against the golf course they are playing, not just the additonal golfers. Golfers do not total their scores until after they have finished playing. Then the friendly banter can begin and the trash talk can begin about winning the next time.

Often it is said the you can measure the true worth of a person while on the golf course. Your honesty and fortitude will be put to the test while you are on a golf course. The way that a golfer will face challenging situations and make difficult decisions shows a lot. People both nearby and further away will notice your manner of play and your conduct.

Depending on the particular golf course on which you choose to play, the golf course conditions such as the cut of the greens, the length of the fairway grass and the condition of the tee boxes can vary. This may not be a matter of concern if you happen to have the same golf swing Tiger has.

Many golfers think that the private golf courses and country clubs have the finest golfing conditions. Many public golf courses have better facilities. Quite a few of the public golf courses provide a better setting than some of the expensive courses.

A golf course needs more than just a name in order to create a good reputation for itself. An owner or operator of any golf course has the power to create a positive or negative environment.

Even if the owner of the course is not well liked, chances are you will see the owner only when you start your play. For the next couple of hours the golfers are going to be in a rather solitary situation.

Continuing to play the same golf course over and over again stunts your improvement. Eventually you are not going to improve much as a golfer unless you play at some other golf courses. By playing other courses you will learn how to face new challenges you do not get on your home course.

I think David Nevogt provides the best golf instruction.
